Definition

The ending of a contract. This can occur by mutual consent, fulfillment of all obligations (completion), or via breach (with the innocent party choosing to terminate). In a tenancy, for instance, an agreement termination could be by a landlord�s notice, a tenant�s notice, or mutual agreement to end the tenancy early.
