How it works – the Staircase secret

When you invest with Staircase, you’ll use the equity in your own home to invest in one or more new-build rental properties. Usually this will mean no cash is needed from you up-front.

Your property’s rental income is used to offset outgoings such as mortgage interest, rates and property management.

If you decide to sell your rental property (e.g. when you retire) you’ll benefit from the capital growth in your property.

If you choose to hold long-term rather than sell, your investment can deliver cashflow as well as capital gains.
