Definition

Commonly abbreviated as AGM. A mandatory yearly meeting of a company's shareholders. In this meeting, company directors present the financial statements, discuss the year's performance, and shareholders vote on important matters such as electing directors or approving auditors. (In NZ, companies Act 1993 requirements apply for AGMs unless waived by shareholders of a small company.)
