Justin brings more than 30 years in sales and sales management to his work with Staircase clients, with a focus on helping people understand what they are taking on before they take it on.

An active property investor himself, Justin has sat on the same side of the decision as the clients he works with. He knows what a tenancy turnover feels like, what happens when maintenance costs land in the same month, and how a plan holds up when the market does something nobody expected. That experience shapes how he sets out a client's position, and it is why he would rather be realistic early than optimistic and wrong.

His approach is to ask a lot of questions at the start. The detail that gets skipped in the first conversation is usually what causes trouble later, so Justin works through income, lending position, ongoing costs and expectations in order, and makes sure a client can explain the reasoning back to him.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the outdoors on two wheels.
