Getting into rental property can feel overwhelming at first. Much of Samantha's work is breaking it down. Lending, ownership structure, cash flow and the ongoing costs all sound complicated until they are set out side by side and explained in order. Once clients can see how the pieces connect, the decision becomes a good deal less stressful.

She is equally willing to say when something does not stack up. Not every situation is ready for a rental property, and being straight about that is more useful than telling someone what they want to hear. The clients she works with best are the ones who want the full picture, including the less comfortable parts.

Outside of work, Samantha starts the day early with a gym session and a walk with her dog, Theo.
